  • Must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.

  • Must be a citizen of the United States

  • Must be free from convictions of disqualifying criminal offenses

  • Must successfully pass physical examination/drug screening/background check

  • Must possess a high school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)

  • Must establish residency within 35 miles of the City of Coatesville within six months of date of hire

  • Must be free from convictions of disqualifying criminal offenses enumerated by MPOETC

  • Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license 

  • Must successfully pass physical examination/drug screening/psychological examination/background check
